Lola shoot - sneak peak.

I teamed up with fellow photographer and mate Wouter Kingma last week to shoot Lola - the 1963 VW campervan. She was no ordinary van though...

These aren't the actual shots we produced, just grab shots I took as we worked away. I'll put up the final selection at a later date.

It was a great shoot, lasted for 11 hours, but was a lot of fun. Lola can transform into a bar or Dj station. She's equipped with everything you'd need for a great party. The guys are putting together a website and promo material which I'll post about once it's all ready.

What a week. I've been out shooting the Adventure Challenge with a mate of mine for a coffee table book we're producing. Early starts, long days but brilliant fun. Got some nice shots. I'm going through them now and will post some up here as soon as.

Experimenting with some movement and using lights fired directly at the camera. I like the flare you get from the strobes plus the way it lights the moving hair.

I looked out the window this morning and saw this. It's times like this I wish I lived on the edge of the desert and not in the middle of a development. I had to crop the hell out of this pic to remove the villa next door and the pylons but the sky was to good to pass up. With sunrises you've just got to catch the moment. Well here goes another day.

Was out in the desert this weekend taking pics of these guys jumping off dunes on their Honda CRF 450s. Very good fun, plus it gave me an excuse to take the Landy into the dunes.

Been hanging out with my brother and cousin who are also photographers. It's been great just mucking about taking pics of each other and figuring out some new techniques. We've been getting some funny looks from folk as we jump up and down like dafties but who cares, we're getting good results.

Going to do a shoot down at a trampoline centre soon. Can't wait for the results.
